The first time I went to a magazine store I was transfixed. Here were entire new worlds, beautifully presented – I could just flip those pages and become immersed in the world of competitive surfing, or aerospace, or architecture. Flipboard is an opportunity to capture that magazine-stand experience in a digital format – to capture all that wonder. Of course I joined Flipboard. I can’t think of a better job for a designer.
